1. SHADES OF ETERNAL NIGHT

This blog is written by my friend Ned. He is a music-lover and musician and there are a great many wonderful and obscure findings on his site. (Well, obscure to me.)
2. AUDIOVOLE
www.audiovole.com

This site is written by my friend Brandon and his friend Sarah. It's a unique take on a music blog, in that they each listen to an album and proceed to have a written dialogue about that album. I think it's easy for critics to feel all-powerful and all-knowing, so this is a way to avoid that, while still producing really interesting critiques. In the words of the authors themselves: "Ultimately, we feel that the greatest accomplishment any piece of art can achieve is the incitement of discourse."
