Public Service Announcement

I've been roaming around town lately like the cool, unemployed lady I am, and I've seen a couple interesting Safer Sex PSA's. I saw this one in bus stops on both Mamaroneck Ave and Palmer Ave:

Overall, I like them. Maybe I'm wrong, but most sex-related PSA's are a bit more ambiguous. These are pretty direct and simple: Birth control AND condoms. Together. Prevent pregnancy, STD's, and HIV. I like the first ad a lot because the teenagers look like real teenagers, and not 30-year-old actors on Dawson's Creek. The one thing I'll object to is the "Take Control" font. 1. Can you just make a post consisting entirely of pictures of Mamk and Larchmont to feed into my nostalgic tendencies? Haha.

  2. Ask and ye shall receive! That's actually a great idea. So, would a photo of Walter's bring up nostalgic memories or painful ones?

  3. Haha, painful! Actually, I was in Westchester last summer for the first time in years and my friends forced me to eat at Walters. I hadn't been there since I moved in 2002. Weird experience.
